Rice Physical Mapping Data from RGP

YAC clones selected with DNA markers.

Click a chromosome number button, and the names of YAC clones selected with RGP DNA markers on that chromosome will be shown. In each table, the left most column indicates the divided region within the chromosome, and the second column lists RGP DNA markers from our high density genetic map. In the third column are shown the genetic distances from the top of each chromosome in centiMorgan units. In the rest of each table, from the fourth column and rightward, the YAC clones selected with the corresponding RGP DNA markers (Kurata et al. 1994) are shown. The YACs followed by "c" are thought to be chimeras because they are also selected with other markers from different chromosomes. YAC contig formation in each chromosome is schematically presented in the figures of "YAC contigs on the rice chromosomes" section of our physical mapping data here. The sizes of the YACs that constitute the minimal path for the contigs are also shown there.
